7 Principles of Peace

A principle a day and when you Pray, Plan & Practice it brings peace your way.

After my son Louis was murdered, I relied on my faith to lead me toward healing and inner peace. Along with prayer and planning, I practiced the Seven Principles of Peace daily: love, hope, unity, faith, courage, justice, and forgiveness. I was able to share this practice and encourage other survivors to find the strength to cultivate peace from within even while they struggled with grief after the murdered of their loved ones

I invite you to travel this journey with me and discover the next steps of your own spiritual journey toward inner peace through the Seven Principles of Peace:

1: PRAY PEACE: daily for yourself, your family, the city, religious and elected leaders and for others who are seeking peace.

2: PLAN PEACE: Take 3 minutes daily and be still, reflect and keep a journal on how you are using the principles to find inner peace.

3: PRACTICE PEACE: Find poems, scriptures, songs, stories, quotes, images that relate to the principles of peace and use them as your guide. Share on twitter or Facebook, Instagram. Share them with me…  #peaceispossible.  # iampeace    # tryonpeace
